Anyone organising a party for thirty people usually calls six venues, gets six vague answers and loses two weeks. The reason is almost always the same: nobody publishes the numbers, so you have to ask for them one at a time. Ours are all here.
Four things to decide before you call
Arrive with these four answers and we can quote on the first call instead of the third.
How many people. Ten, forty and two hundred are three different parties, not the same party scaled up. The room changes, the service format changes and the price per head changes: below a certain size table service is simple, above it a buffet makes more sense.
A private room or the main dining room. A long table in the main room works well up to about fifteen people. Beyond that the background noise becomes the problem: you end up talking only to the person next to you, and whoever organised the evening notices immediately.
Which format. Standing buffet, table service, finger food, or a menu agreed in advance. It is not only a question of cost: a buffet keeps people circulating, table service keeps them seated. For a stag night the first; for a graduation dinner with relatives, the second.
What time. The question almost nobody asks in advance and almost everybody asks afterwards. Our answers are below, and they are precise.
Five rooms, 400 square metres, up to 200 seated
The space is divided into five rooms totalling 400 square metres, plus an outdoor area. Maximum seated capacity is 200.
One of the five rooms can be reserved for your group, separate from the main dining room: the restaurant stays open to other guests. If you want the whole venue to yourselves, that is a different arrangement and we agree it separately. And here is the figure worth comparing against the other quotes you are collecting: with us, the room itself is not a charge. There is no room fee and no minimum set aside to keep it booked: you reserve seats, from 25 euro per person, and with a large enough group those seats add up to one of the five rooms.
You pay for what you eat and drink, and the room follows. When you gather quotes, that is the line to look for: almost everyone charges it, as a flat fee or as a dedicated minimum. We would rather agree the right format and stop there.
What it costs: from 25 euro per person
The range is wide because it depends almost entirely on the format, not on the number of guests. A standing buffet sits at the lower end: people eat on the move, the service is lighter, and for a long aperitivo or a stag night it is the right choice regardless of price. Table service with an agreed menu sits at the top, because it needs more staff in the room and more courses.
What moves the price within the range is the courses you choose: a grill with cuts sold by weight costs differently from a menu of pasta and pizza. We tell you beforehand, line by line, not at the end of the evening.
A deposit is due on confirmation: it holds the room on the date, which on spring weekends and in December is the only thing that really matters.
Hours and music: the two things to know before you say yes
We prefer to say them in advance, because these are the two that cause misunderstandings once a party has started.
The party can run until 2am. That is a real time, not a theoretical one: we are open until 2am on Friday and Saturday all year round, so we are not making an exception for you.
The music stops at midnight. That applies to a DJ as well, and it always applies: after that hour the evening carries on, but without amplification. If you have your own DJ set in mind, raise it when we agree the date — it depends on the room and on the evening, and the answer is not automatically yes. Better to know three weeks ahead than at half past eleven.
What can go on the menu
The three things we do best all work for a large group, which is not a given.
The grill, with the butcher counter in full view in the middle of the room: for a group menu the cuts are agreed in advance and reach the table already portioned. The pizza, which with three doughs and 72 hours of proofing holds up to the long timings of a buffet because it does not go limp. And the homemade pasta — mezze maniche and tonnarelli rolled every morning — which is the course that settles the tables with children.
Allergens are listed dish by dish on every menu page, so a group with intolerances does not need a phone call: you look and you agree.
The occasions, and what changes for each
Birthdays — the point is the cake and the moment it comes out. Tell us in advance, because it changes how we set up the end of dinner.

Until 2am. The music stops at midnight, DJ included: the evening carries on, the sound system does not.
Can we bring our own DJ or our own music?
It depends on the room and on the evening, so it has to be agreed when the date is fixed and it is not automatic. Either way the midnight limit applies.
How far in advance should we book?
For spring weekends and for December, as early as you can — those are the dates that go first, and the deposit is what actually holds the room. For other periods a couple of weeks is usually enough.
