A company dinner in Rome goes wrong in predictable ways: the number changes, the budget was never stated, and nobody told the restaurant whether people are supposed to talk or listen. All three are decided in the first email.

Say the number, and say the budget
A restaurant can plan for twenty-five people or for eighty, but not for “around thirty, maybe more”. The number decides the room, the kitchen timing and the staff on the floor.
The budget is the same conversation. A fixed price per head, agreed in advance, with wine included or explicitly excluded, is the only version that ends without a calculator on the table.
Decide what the evening is for
- A thank-you dinner wants a long table and no formality. Volume is fine.
- A dinner with clients wants a separate space and a room where a conversation can happen.
- A dinner with speeches wants a layout where everyone can see one person. Say so in advance, because it changes the seating.
- A dinner after a conference wants speed. People have been sitting since nine in the morning.
The practical questions worth asking
Is there a dedicated space or are we in the main room? What time does the kitchen close? Is there a deposit, and what is the cancellation window? Can the menu handle vegetarians, coeliacs and someone who does not eat pork — and can it do that without a separate negotiation on the night?
A restaurant that answers all four quickly has done it before.

What we can do
Four hundred square metres at Viale Aventino 32, with a restaurant, a grill, a pizzeria and a cocktail bar. From ten people to two hundred and fifty, with menus agreed before the date and a room reserved for your group. The formats and costs are set out in private events in Rome, and the enquiry form is on the events page.
Two minutes from the Circus Maximus, four from the Circo Massimo stop on metro line B — which matters when people are getting back to different hotels.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can you host for a company dinner?
From ten to two hundred and fifty, depending on the format. Above about twenty-five we use a dedicated space rather than the main room.
Can we have a room reserved for us?
Yes. One of the five rooms is reserved for your group, while the restaurant stays open to other guests; for the whole venue, terms are agreed separately. It depends on the date and the number — say both when you enquire and we will tell you what is available.
How does the pricing work?
A fixed price per head agreed in advance, with wine included or excluded as you prefer. No surprises at the end.
Can you handle dietary requirements?
Yes: vegetarian, coeliac and no-pork options are built into the group menus rather than improvised on the night. Tell us the numbers in advance.
How do we get there?
Viale Aventino 32, two minutes from the Circus Maximus and four from the Circo Massimo stop on metro line B, four stops from Termini.
