In December rooms are booked weeks ahead, and there are few Friday evenings before the holidays: in 2026 they are the 4th, the 11th and the 18th, because the 25th is Christmas Day. At ROSSO Restaurant and Grill there is no separate charge for a private room: you book seats, from 25 euro per person. The most common range goes up to around 70 euro, and a group can reach 200 seated guests across five rooms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;margin:30px 0\"><a href=\"\/en\/party\/\" style=\"display:inline-block;padding:13px 30px;border:1px solid #c59134;border-radius:30px;color:#c59134;text-decoration:none;font-weight:700;letter-spacing:.3px\">Request a quote<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-0-when-to-book\">When to book<\/h2>\n<p>A deposit is taken on confirmation, and it holds the room for the date you choose. For a December dinner it is the first thing to sort out, before the details of the menu.<\/p>\n<p>If the Friday you had in mind is taken, a Thursday works too. Monday to Thursday we are open until 1am and the kitchen takes orders until midnight: a dinner starting at nine has all the time it needs.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-1-what-it-costs-per-person\">What it costs per person<\/h2>\n<p>From 25 euro per person to around 70 for the most common range, and more with fine wines or champagne. The price depends mainly on the format. A standing buffet sits at the lower end, because service is lighter and people eat on the move. Table service with a set menu sits at the higher end: it needs more staff and more courses.<\/p>\n<p>What is on the plate matters too. A grill menu with cuts sold by weight costs differently from a pasta and pizza menu, and the quote lists every item before the evening.<\/p>\n<p>There is no room hire fee and no minimum spend: you book seats, and if the group is large those seats fill one of the five rooms. How it works, with capacities and costs, is explained in full in our guide to <a href=\"\/en\/festa-privata-a-roma-sala-formule-e-costi\/\">private parties in Rome<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For wine there is a list of 56 bottles, with 12 wines by the glass, published online with prices, so whoever holds the budget can get an idea of the cost before even calling.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-2-private-room-or-main-room\">Private room or main room<\/h2>\n<p>Up to about fifteen people, a long table in the main room works well. Beyond that the background noise becomes a problem, and people end up talking only to their neighbours. Above fifteen, a private room is better, separate from the rest of the restaurant, which stays open to other guests.<\/p>\n<p>A group of twenty fits in one room. Above a hundred, several rooms are combined, up to 200 seats over 400 square metres. If the company wants the whole restaurant, that is agreed separately.<\/p>\n<p>A standing buffet keeps people moving, which helps when departments that rarely meet during the year are together. Table service keeps everyone seated and suits an evening with a speech or a toast from management.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-3-the-menu-the-grill-for-a-large\">The menu: the grill for a large group<\/h2>\n<p>The menu is put together with you, starting from the grill or the pizza. For a group, the cuts are agreed in advance and arrive at the table already portioned. The beef comes from the two selections on display at the <a href=\"\/en\/cucina\/\">open butcher&#8217;s counter<\/a>, Prussian and Danish, cooked on lava stone.<\/p>\n<p>The pizza has three doughs and at least 72 hours of rising, and holds up through a long buffet. Then there is homemade pasta, mezze maniche and tonnarelli rolled every morning, with the three Roman recipes on the menu: carbonara, amatriciana and cacio e pepe. Dishes and prices are on the <a href=\"\/en\/menu-cena\/\">dinner menu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among colleagues there is often someone who does not eat meat or has an allergy. Vegetarian and vegan options run through the whole menu, from starters to the veggie burger, and every dish carries its allergen codes. For gluten there are dishes made without gluten-containing ingredients, but there is only one kitchen and bread, pasta and pizza are made in it every day, so we cannot guarantee dishes suitable for coeliacs. If someone in the group is coeliac, mention it in your quote request.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-4-speeches-music-and-the-end-of\">Speeches, music and the end of the evening<\/h2>\n<p>There is Wi-Fi throughout. Projector, screen, microphones and sound system are not part of our fixed equipment: we hire them, they go into the quote, and at the end of the evening you get a single invoice, equipment included. Tell us in advance what the programme involves, such as a presentation or a video.<\/p>\n<p>For the running order you need two times. Music, DJ included, stops at midnight, while the event can carry on until 2am. An outside DJ is agreed when the date is set and is not automatic, because it depends on the room and the evening. For those who stay on after dinner there is the cocktail bar, with 16 classic cocktails and 5 alcohol-free ones.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-5-invoices-the-bill-and-colleagu\">Invoices, the bill and colleagues from abroad<\/h2>\n<p>For work dinners we issue an invoice on request; just tell us before the bill. If everyone pays their own share, the bill can be split across as many cards as needed. We take the main Italian and international cards, American Express and Diners included, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Satispay.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening parking is easier than at lunchtime: once the offices close, the blue and white bays free up, and there are paid garages nearby. The restaurant is opposite the FAO headquarters, and if you come by public transport, metro line B is two hundred metres away, direct from Termini. If there are international colleagues in the group, the staff speak English and all our menus are published in English too, with allergens.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-6-if-the-party-is-at-the-office\">If the party is at the office<\/h2>\n<p>Some companies prefer to stay put. With our <a href=\"\/en\/catering-a-domicilio\/\">catering service<\/a> the kitchen and bar come to you, with the same menu put together with you, from the grill to the pizza, served at the table or as a standing buffet.
