All three are fixable in one phone call.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/prenota\/\">Book a table at ROSSO<\/a> &mdash; Viale Aventino 32, by the Circus Maximus.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-0-decide-the-number-then-the-place\">Decide the number, then the place<\/h2>\n<p>Twelve people and twenty-five people are different problems. Up to about fifteen a normal restaurant can absorb you at a long table; above that you want a room, or at least a defined corner, or the evening splits into two conversations that cannot hear each other.<\/p>\n<p>Say the real number when you book, not the optimistic one. A table set for twenty that seats fourteen looks worse than the reverse.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-1-agree-the-money-before-anyone-sits\">Agree the money before anyone sits down<\/h2>\n<p>The version that works: a set price per head, agreed in advance, wine included or clearly excluded. It removes the twenty minutes at the end where someone with a calculator ruins the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The version that does not: everyone orders freely and the bill is divided. Somebody always paid for someone else\u2019s fillet.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ra-2-tell-the-restaurant-what-the-eveni\">Tell the restaurant what the evening is<\/h2>\n<p>A stag dinner is louder than a business dinner and shorter than a wedding. Kitchens plan for that: where they seat you, how fast the courses come, whether the bar is ready afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>We have four hundred square metres with a restaurant, a grill, a <a href=\"\/en\/pizza\/\">pizzeria<\/a> and a cocktail bar, so a group that wants steak and a group that wants pizza can sit at the same table.
